Winnemucca is Changing Fast! Do You Want to Get Stuck Behind?

Do you want to be part of the Lithium Rush? Because the time to act is now. A little story to illustrate the point… Lisa and I were living on the Upper West side of Manhattan, my wife having just given birth to our first born son. upon entering our local coffee house I noticed a little plaque on the side of the building which read: “In the 1837-38 year, in this location, which was a forest at the time, Edgar Allen Poe resided in a wooden shack.”

Can you imagine for a minute the middle of New York City (Manhattan), being a forest? And can you imagine how the Indians that sold Manhattan to the Dutch for trinkets must feel? Did you know, according to a financial analyst talking about the power of stocks… If those Native Americans had taken the 20 dollars, given to them by the Dutch, invested in the stock market when it was created in 1792, under the Buttonwood tree, which is now Wall Street, the value of that 20 bucks would, around the mid 1980’s have eclipsed the value of Manhattan! Just a little humor to make you think dear reader as I am sure you, like most of us, would have no problem having a real estate interest in New York City, as long as it was not the Brooklyn Bridge.

Standing in a forest, wherever that forest may be, can one imagine what the future holds? In a country with many undeveloped natural areas, but, where land grows more scarce practically every day, there just might be a way. People with vision have a habit of using their imagination, insight and intelligence to see the big picture… Somewhere in that “forest’ where Poe resided, was a neighbor of Poe’s who held on to his cabin…

Winnemucca is a place where only those with the ability to see the big picture will be attracted to the area. Consider that Nevada is a state where the government owns more than 80% of the land, leaving very little to house the population. Winnemucca has chronic housing scarcity, what will happen when the Lithium minds are operating at full capacity and all those additional miners need a place to live? as Lithium mines come on line… the population of Winnemucca could easily double. And what of the other supplemental industries like tourism, where people need places to park their RVs… How many trailer parks can the town of Winnemucca hold?

The Lithium mines might be the most valuable land in the country, recent documentaries seem to think so… We depend on this mineral for its conductivity in batteries and while it may not have the same weight ratio of value as a precious metal, my friend, a first rate chemist tells me: “We just need so much of it, and there is so much of it in the Thacker Pass Hills.” These mines, some of the most valuable real estate in the country, need land in Winnemucca because of its proximity, to the mines, but it is more than that. Roads like Jungo road, where the Blue Mountain Ranches are, have to be vastly improved, paved to a greater degree, businesses will be needed to entertain and feed people, as a bigger epicenter, Winnemucca, like Reno, will experience the growth of it’s infrastructure.

So I ask you dear reader… Do you see the big picture? Buying the land is a great start, but what about having that land ready? Services like Solar, Septic and Wells will become more scarce as more people need them. This increases the price of this necessary infrastructure.

Consider Pecan Park Grove LLC, an experienced neighbor, a coop, and a consultant, able to help you purchase and finance infrastructure. This infrastructure increases the value of your land, just adding power to your parcel almost doubles the value of the investment. It also allows one to have tenants, with more than enough for you to have adequate privacy… Lets face it, the parcels in the Blue Mountain Ranches are not one acre lots! Do you have any idea how much a ten acre parcel is? You could literally put a small trailer area, with 20 power hookups on less than an acre, rent out two custom built dwellings on another acre, purchased and financed at a wholesale cost, and still have your residence more than 5 acres away! heck if you wanted to? You could put all these things practically on an acre!

So ask yourself… Do you want to live in Winnastucka, stuck with land you pay on and cannot encumber for your profit and enjoyment? Or do you want to live in Win-nemucca? which will only grow in value, allowing one not to sell the golden goose, but to borrow against the property, use it for various income streams, and for those beautiful star studded nights, clear air, and the city lights in the not so far distance.
